I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem... My daughter is almost 6 months old and she recently has decided that she wasn't going to sleep at night. I put her down around 730 and she's back up at 830, 1030, 130, 330, 500. I've tried the not picking her up in the middle of the night and just patting and soothing her, but that leads to her freaking out. I've also tried giving her 10-15 minutes to resettle herself and that ended up w/ her shrieking hysterically and took an hour to calm her down. The only thing that works is me holding her and rocking her. She's never slept with me, she used to sleep so good...I just don't know what's changed?!?! I'm at a loss. I bought a couple of those "get you baby to sleep" books and all they did was confuse me even more....does anyone out there have some realistic advice that they've tried with success? or do I just have to wait it out and eventually she'll outgrow it?
