| My baby was like that and I switched car seats - got one that was a bit wider. My baby actually calmed down once I did that.

| My baby was like that too and I agree it was horrible. But the good news is that it eventually stops. I think that the time of it stopping varies from baby to baby but it DOES stop with every baby. Just project ahead and imagine your child is older and cured of this because this is what IS going to happen.

| If your baby is wearing a hat while she is screaming away you might try removing it and see if that helps. Some babies cannot stand being constrained in the car seat and the hat actually contributes to an enclosed, trapped, claustrophobic feeling. At least, that is my theory. My baby did so much better once I started taking his hat off!

| I don't know if this will help or not, but if you can find some sheep skin insert (or even fake sheepskin insert), it will make the seat cozier and your baby more comfortable. It seemed to help my daughter (or, she just happened to outgrow the crying stage at the time I put the sheepskin in the seat).
