My mom lives with us.She means well but she always undoes what I'm trying to do with my 4yr old. I don't believe in having lots of strict rules, but she does so she's always telling him to sit up straight use his knife and fork and all kinds of things I think he'll figure out later on.When I tell her to leave him alone she gets very insulted Should I just ignore her or keep trying to stop her?
No, don't ignore her. Tell her that you love her but that you want to raise your 4 year old the way you want to raise him and you do not want another person helping.
