At the end of the article you'll see a reference to a book for parents of children who have OCD and if you take a look at that book, it will help you determine whether your child really does have this disorder. Of course, you will need a mental health professional to give you an accurate diagnosis. Even if your daughter only has OCD tendencies but doesn't have the disorder, you may find it helpful to follow some of the parenting strategies for OCD kids.
