| Maybe both the parents work - is that a crime? My wife and I both work and our nanny supervises our child's play dates. I wouldn't want anyone to avoid our son because of this!

| I seem to be the only stay-at-home mom in my community so I can understand your dilemma. On the one hand, I understand that some parents have to work. On the other hand, I find it upsetting when my children refer to the nannies as "so and so's mommy". They don't have a concept of nannies and just think that every other "mother" is of different ethnicity and doesn't speak English so well. I guess there is not much to be done though, if the reality is that most mothers work.
