| I think you need to walk that fine line between "peer pressure" and "parent pressure." If all her friends are wearing those sleezy dresses, you can't dress her up in pioneer clothes. She may look at that picture 15 years from now and remember nothing but the huge fight she had with you and all the tears she shed that night! You might try to get her to take a pretty shawl that she can throw over herself when pictures are being taken. Then you both win! Sarah Chana

| Funny you should say that. My mother made me wear something to my prom that no one else was wearing and I think it scarred me for life. I don't get along with my mom and I think it has something to do with her being the kind of person who is totally insensitive to her daughter's feelings.
