| Try reading "The NO Cry Sleep Solution". I thought it was a great book.

| La Leche league has lots of weaning advice and they have mothers groups too. Trying finding the chapter closest to your home and just calling it. I found them really helpful.

| Weaning is an emotionally challenging time for both moms and babes. It's the end of one phase of life and like all endings, has its sad component. However, like all beginnings, new adventures lie ahead! Once you finish the weaning process, you'll find that both you and your baby have gained independence. Your baby needs this in order to move on to the next healthy stage and you'll enjoy it yourself because it will allow you to find your SELF again. As you make the transition between the two stages, there can be a lot of upheaval, so be gentle with yourself. Feeling conflicted, sad, confused, helpless and irritable is normal at this time for both you and your baby. Try to be patient. In a short while, you'll be on the other side and you'll both be calm again. Sarah Chana
