My newborn doesn't seem to want to wake up for anything. He sleeps through his feeding time. During the day he can sleep for seven hours without waking - sometimes more. I can't keep him awake long enough to give him enough to eat. My doctor says tickle his feet which I do but the only thing that wakes him is shaking him violently and it's really scary - sometimes I don't know if he's going to get up or stay in a comma. This is my third child. My first two never slept but at least I knew they were alive! Has anyone heard of this? Will he outgrow it?
