I really appreciated the article on moody children because it took the pressure off me to try to constantly cheer up my own moody daughter. Before reading the article, I thought I was responsible for making her happy - make her this breakfast, buy her that treat, give her that privilege - just to see her smile for a minute before collapsing back into her displeased state. It was exhausting! Now I don't bother and I feel a lot more relaxed. If she's not happy, she's not happy! Maybe now that I've stopped working so hard at it, SHE'll try to cheer herself up. But I don't care now if she doesn't. Thank you!
