My daughter is 9 and we are having some major issues at bedtime.  She will not go to sleep unless I am in the room and the light is on.  Last night she was in bed at 8:30 and did not get to sleep until after 10.  She cries and gets angry.  I am not sure what else to do with her, I have tried ignoring her and getting upset nothing works.  I do not think that I need to stay in the room with her until she falls asleep but I am at the end of my rope.  This is on top of the attitude I am getting from her as well.  Please help
