| Sometimes kids learn that they can get lots of attention from making funny faces, the "grumpy" face being one such expression. This may be happening with your youngster. Or, it may be a combination of him feeling grumpy and then dragging it out longer because of the attention he is receiving. The occasional grumpy mood is normal in adults and children. Children, however, may be more open about showing their feelings. However, if your child is unhappy and you want to know whether his moodiness is in the normal range or if it is something you need to be concerned about it, speak to your pediatrician about it.
