| First, make sure you are modeling those healthy food choices. Second, provide only healthy options for meals and snacks. Offer junk food at specific times (i.e. only on the weekend). Take Dr. Shapiro's book "Picture Perfect Weight Loss" out of the library and leave it lying around the house - it is a beautiful picture book that delivers the message far better than any lecture you might give. As they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." Keep in mind that you can't control your daughter's choices outside the house. But your education in the home is very important so do the best you can in the realm. Sarah Chana
