| Something like that happened to me once and I told the mother that she needs to learn the difference between an EMERGENCY and normal child care problems. You don't call a mother at work unless her kid needs to go the hospital or something like that! Little kids do get rough, hurt each other, insult each other and so on - if you aren't prepared to deal with that, don't let your child have friends over for play-dates!
