Testimonials

Learning from Sarah Chana has been a hugely positive aspect of my life. Her materials and methods have given me practical tools to have at hand while parenting and relating to my husband, and all people in general. There no more yelling in our house and our children are learning to be respectful and emotionally-mature people. I recommend her books and workshops to anyone looking to improve themselves or meet the challenges life presents them.

I have used Sarah Chana Radcliffe’s parenting advice and books for years of teaching my own students. Her advice is clear and easy to implement. Everyone can benefit from reading Raise Your Kids without Raising Your Voice. Mrs. Radcliffe brings in ideas from many different paths; she does not fit into a box. Her ideas are simple and refreshing. The children feel respected and the parents feel like they are back in the driver’s seat. I especially like the fact that Mrs. Radcliffe stresses rapport as the key ingredient successful parenting.

Not only does S C Radcliffe give good parenting advice
I heard her talking about her book at the Jewish Book Fair last year. Her strategies on dealing with anger, difficult people and avoiding nagging can be applied to adults too. I highly recommend her book.

Sarah Chana's wisdom has changed the lives of families everywhere. Her advice is practical and to the point - no fancy psychobabble, just great solutions that parents can use right away.  Her fantastic book Raise Your Kids without Raising Your Voice  should be in every home!  When parents consult me with tricky family issues, I always refer them to Sarah Chana because I know they'll get the answers they need.

RAISE YOUR KIDS WITHOUT RAISING YOUR VOICE

AUTHOR: Sarah Chana Radcliffe

PUBLISHER: Harper-Collins

Raise Your Kids without Raising Your Voice is a treasured and welcomed parent resource! Ms. Radcliffe shows parents the way toward a positive approach to raising their kids from infancy to adulthood..... Finally a book that encourages and guides parents with specific step-by-step suggestions for talking with and teaching our kids as opposed to "yakking at" and "yelling at" them. This is a practical, how-to, loaded with smart advice and examples of every day scenarios that we parents deal with from bedtimes in toddlerhood to swearing and non-compliance in the teenage years. In today's busy, hectic and time limiting world, we CAN learn to be effective parents with Raise Your Kids without Raising Your Voice! Ms. Radcliffe makes it easy by laying the groundwork, the rules, and the strategies, giving us the tools we need to raise healthy children in every respect. All we have to do is pick up those tools and use them appropriately to lead our children into an adulthood that allows them to be equipped with the stress-free solutions they have learned in their own human growth.

Although I freely admit that I find parenting books often way too idealistic, I was pleasantly surprised  to read "Raising Your Kids without Raising Your Voice" by Sarah Chana Radcliffe.  Well actually, at first I was completely skeptical.  My older girlfriend had recommended it and I know that her style of parenting and mine are not always the same. Plus my six year old is a monkey and her fifteen year old is a saint so...

Initally I grinned as I read Ms. Radcliffe's philosophies on child rearing, thinking there was no way my screaming angel was going to respond to any of these extremely simplistic methods, no matter how long I kept at it.  Would you believe my angel stopped screaming after a weekend of using the 2x Rule?

The great thing about this book is that it can apply to almost any relationship - not  just parent and child.  I would sincerely recommend this book to anyone who wants a few moments of peace.

Oh yes, and the author has SIX kids of her own and a master's degree in psychology.  SIX KIDS! Sheesh.
